The Vacant Rental Program is run by Otsego Rural Housing Assistance, Inc. (ORHA) in partnership with Opportunities for Otsego. The idea is simple but powerful: the county gives you grant funding to renovate, convert, or finish a space so it becomes a livable rental unit. In exchange, you agree to rent that unit at affordable rates to income-qualified households for 10 years.
